Broccoli & Feta Omelet

Looking for another recipe to fill your stomach but not add additional fats, this one is good for you.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It is the fuel that starts your body. So even if you are trying to lose some weight, skipping meals especially breakfast is a big No! No!

This very easy breakfast recipe, which will only  take 15 minutes of your time from  beginning to end, will make you you feeling satisfied yet energized.

Do you know that broccoli provides filling fiber which by the way is only 30 cal per serving, while the protein-loaded eggs curb appetite and will help ease those late-morning cravings.

Ingredients:

  • Cooking spray
  • 1 cup chopped broccoli
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried dill
  • 2 slices rye bread, toasted

Preparation

  1. Start by heating a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Spray pan with cooking spray. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Coat pan with cooking spray. Put the broccoli, and cook 3 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, combine egg, feta, and dill in a small bowl. Whisk them together then set aside.
  3. When the broccoli is cooked, add the egg mixture to the pan. Cook 3 to 4 minutes; flip omelet and cook 2 minutes or until cooked through.
  4. Serve and enjoy with toast.

Who said that you can’t enjoy eating good food when you are trying to lose weight.
